THE WAY UP, IS DOWN (Part 2)
He stood up sadly and walked slowly to the bedroom
” Honey, wouldn’t you finish your food?” His wife asked with a look of concern
” I lost my appetite,” he said with a wave of a hand. His wife knew what he usually does whenever he is sad is to pray. She quickly cleared the table and went in to meet him. She met him on his knees crying and praying and she joined him. She wrapped one of her arms around his neck affectionately and rub his back pacifyingly with the second hand as they pray together.

“My dear, is it not too early to go for job searching?” she asked surprisingly when she saw her husband dressing up the next morning
” Hmm, my dear, I don’t know what is happening but I felt a nudge in my spirit to go for the interview. I think God is up to something” he said nodding
” It is okay “she shrugged her shoulder” I wouldn’t stop you since you are convinced”
” Yeah, I may not understand why, but let me go. You know God works in diverse ways, who knows what He wanted to bring out of this?” he continued as he tucks in his shirt “But I am sure it will be for our good in Jesus name” Bomi said as he adjusts his tie

“As a messenger?” she asked surprisingly “How could you allow your husband to stoop so low? a graduate for that matter!”
“Hmm, you can’t understand,” Racheal said calmly
“What can’t I understand?” She asked a scowl “That the nation has been so bad to the extent a graduate can now be employed as a messenger? I was actually dazed when I saw him in the Uniform running around like a houseboy”
“Well, we thank God for that. A half loaf is better than none. There are a number of graduates that are still roaming the street looking for a job. At least he can keep himself busy with something” she said joyfully
“Really,” she asked disgustedly
“I believe God knows about everything His Children are going through and He allows it for a purpose. What we need to do is continue making our requests known to Him till our joy is full, because we must not be ignorant of devil’s devices too” Racheal said
She looked at her with disdain “Hmm, na you sabi” She said and left
